In this post-pandemic state of affairs, we are all asking the question, where can I travel post-pandemic?
Things seem to be changing daily about where you can travel. So many of us are a little bit weary and ready to get away from our cocoons and ‘bubbles.’
There are 43 countries with no travel restrictions. That is a good place to start planning for international travel. I have included a map to show travel restrictions by country.
Of course, there is always the domestic road trip. A word of caution, if you decide to get a car rental, beware that the prices are very high.
I was recently shopping for a car rental for an upcoming trip and experienced severe sticker shock!
I overcame that dilemma by using a service, autoslash.com, that finds the best car rental rates with any discounts you may have, such as AARP, Costco, or Automobile Club.
Here’s an article that explains the market dynamics of the rental car supply and demand.
Most of us want to keep travel surprises to a minimum. It is important to have as much information as possible when striking out on that trip. I know I want to know what my budget will be before I start my trip.
Post-Pandemic Travel- My First Stop
My first stop is going to be Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. It is a short flight to put my vaccine to the test. I will also be putting myself to the test since I haven’t traveled on a plane more than a year.
I have checked all the safety precautions, got an aisle seat, new face masks that are N-95 quality, and I am thinking about getting one of those ‘Bio-Rompers.’
All of my friends and family who will be joining me during my two-week stay have all been vaccinated.
These are some of my steps to get away and enjoy the company of friends. To start planning your trip, please look at the woman-owned travel resources in the article Now is Your Time.
